Prerequisite: NS 210 Mental Health Nursing II and NS 211 Mental Health Nursing II Clinical with “C” or better.

This course explores your transition into practice with an emphasis on current nursing practice, roles and responsibilities, and legal and ethical issues. The major concepts of the ADN program; patient-centered care, professionalism and leadership, teamwork and collaboration, evidence-based practice, informatics, safety and quality improvements, and communication, will be incorporated throughout the course.
