PT230 - Cardiopulmonary

Prerequisite: PT 101, PT 111, PT 121, PT 131, PT 141, and PT 215.

PT 230 is primarily a classroom-based course with a focus on learning the basics of cardiopulmonary physical therapy assessments and interventions. Students will build a comprehensive knowledge base of the foundations of cardiopulmonary pathology, pharmacology, and methodology for safely exercising a patient with cardiac or pulmonary compromise.
