WD260 - Specialized Welding

In this course the students will be learning the proper techniques for Aluminum Gas Metal Arc Welding and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Stainless Steel Shielded Metal Arc Welding and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Oxy-fuel Welding on carbon steel, and Combination Welding - the incorporation of two different welding processes (GTAW & SMAW) on a single pipe joint. The students shall demonstrate their proficiency with these processes and materials via hand-on weld testing.
