Prerequisite: AG 149 Principles of Animal Science.

Basic knowledge of good animal health is important for any livestock producer. You will learn anatomy and physiology as it relates to animal health. Also, time will be spent on immunology, quality assurance plans, common animal diseases, vaccines, and vaccinations, along with different types of therapeutic drugs and treatments.
