AG181 - Introduction to Dairy Marketing 3 Credit(s)
Marketing concepts around the manufacturing, pricing, procurement,and transportation of dairy products are examinded in this course. Students will become acquainted with producer and consumer trends in the dairy industry and will explore careers within the marketing context. Attention is given to product classification and pricing within the Federal Milk Marketing Order system as well as industry dynamics around dairy cooperatives and customer relationship management.
