NS235 - Nursing Care of Adults IV 3 Credit(s)
Prerequisite: NS 220 Maternal Child Nursing II and NS 221 Maternal Child Nursing II Clinical with a “C” or better.
This course explores health alterations in adult clients with an emphasis on immunology, endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, genitourinary, and triage while incorporating knowledge from previous courses. The major concepts of the ADN program; patient-centered care, professionalism and leadership, teamwork and collaboration, evidence-based practice, informatics, safety and quality improvements, and communication, will be incorporated throughout the course. Clinical experiences in a variety of settings will enable you to apply theoretical knowledge and provide safe and effective client care; laboratory compoents are included. (lab fee required)
